- 5g of matcha powder
- 5g of sugar
- 30ml of hot water
- 300 ml of milk
- white chocolate 25g
- whipped cream or extra matcha powder for garnish *Optional
Instructions
1. Blend matcha and sugar smoothly
In a small bowl, mix the matcha powder and sugar thoroughly until no lumps remain.
Sifting the matcha can help.

2. Dissolve the matcha
In a small bowl, whisk the matcha powder with hot water until smooth and frothy. (Use a bamboo whisk or a small milk frother for best results.)
Use 70-80°C (158-176°F) water to dissolve the matcha. If it’s too hot, the matcha can become bitter.

3. Heat the milk
In a small saucepan, gently heat the milk over low to medium heat to enhance its mild and smooth flavor.
Be careful not to boil it, as this can change its taste.

4. Melt the white chocolate
Add the white chocolate to the warm milk and stir until smooth for easier melting.
Chopping the white chocolate finely makes it melt more easily and results in a smooth finish.

5. Combine the matcha and milk mixture
Pour the matcha into the white chocolate milk and mix thoroughly for a smooth, creamy texture.

Topping with whipped cream or matcha powder at the end adds a luxurious flavor!
Using a frother or whisk when heating the milk creates a light and fluffy texture.
